With over two decades of experience in the building materials industry, I’ve dedicated my career to guiding builders, homeowners, and professionals through the selection and application of smart, safe, and innovative products. My approach blends analytical insight with creative problem-solving, ensuring that every solution I offer is both practical and forward-thinking.

As the Business Development Manager for the Western region for Fortress Building Products, I collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—public agencies, code officials, architects, engineers, distributors, dealers, builders, HOAs, insurance providers, real estate professionals, and homeowners—delivering tailored solutions that meet both code requirements and real-world needs.

My deep commitment to fire-safe building practices began in 2007, after witnessing firsthand the aftermath of the Angora Fire near Lake Tahoe. Watching a news segment featuring a homeowner whose fiber cement siding saved his house lit a spark in me—one that has driven my passion for wildfire-resilient construction ever since. That moment kicked off years of fire code research, product education, and advocacy.

Today, fire compliance and WUI-rated solutions are part of my everyday conversations. I’ve utilized CAL FIRE’s Building Materials Listing project more times than you can imagine and continue to push for greater public awareness through partnerships with the California Fire Safe Council (Check out their Vendor’s List!), Living With Fire, IBHS and more where I aim to help all homeowners, HOAs, and insurers make informed choices.
