This is my friend Matt.

He was responsible for training much of CALFIRE’s workforce in fire prevention and protection, emergency response, law enforcement and enhancement of natural resource systems. Thousands of individuals working right now to protect your family were trained by Matt.

My unsatiable appetite for learning about fire mitigation & community building has been fueled by Matt. I do not work for CAL FIRE but feel as though he trained me as well, just in a completely different subject…being a genuinely good person. I looked to him to help me make sense of the materials you have just read, because there is a lot here. A lot of work…and Matt knew what it meant to work!
